Customer's reviews

I recently had the pleasure of using Tribute Home Inspections for a home inspection in Waxhaw, NC, and I couldn't be more impressed. The inspectors were incredibly thorough, meticulously examining every aspect of the property. They provided a comprehensive report that highlighted everything I needed to know about the home, helping me make an informed decision. Thank you. ~ Dessire B
We had a short due diligence period, so we were really scrambling to find an inspector. We called 4 or 5 inspectors, but none of them could work us into their schedule. We called Tribute, and they were able to get us in the next day. The inspector showed up right on time and did a very thorough inspection of the house. He explained everything he found very clearly and took the time to answer all of the questions that we had. He even gave us a home maintenance manual that explains how to perform the basic things ourselves going forward. We had the final inspection report within a couple of hours after the inspection. We got great service, and I would highly recommend Tribute. ~ ELAINE N
Working with Matthew Wolfe is really great. He is very professional and covered all the home warranty inspection aspects. Point to highlight is his pricing. Probably he is the one who offered the lowest price with high quality inspection work. Will definitely work with Matt again for my second year warranty coverage. ~ Karthik G

Questions & Answers

How soon can I get an inspection report after the inspection?
You will receive a detailed inspection report within a few hours after the inspection is completed.
Can you inspect homes during a short due diligence period?
Yes, we can accommodate inspections during short due diligence periods and strive to schedule them promptly.
Do you offer competitive pricing for your inspection services?
Yes, we offer competitive pricing to ensure you receive exceptional value for your investment. Our rates are typically 10-20% lower than those of our competition. If you find a company that quotes you a lower rate than ours on a home inspection, we will beat their price by $25.
What if the inspection report reveals problems?
It is important to note that no house is perfect. Every home inspection will identify issues with the property and the inspector will communicate the severity of the issues found. The home inspector's goal is to leave their clients with a deeper understanding of their prospective home, so the client can make a sound decision as they continue their home buying process. The client should be fully aware of any issues, risks, or health concerns that may impact the client's decision. The inspector's role is not to tell the clients if they should buy the house or not, but to help the clients understand the full cost of ownership. If major problems are found, homebuyers may wish to negotiate with the seller to make repairs or cover their costs.
Can a house fail a home inspection?
A professional home inspection is a visual examination and unbiased evaluation of a home's current state. A home inspector will not give a house a passing or failing grade; instead, they will explain the physical state of the property and highlight any parts or systems that would require significant maintenance. The market worth of the house cannot be ascertained by a home inspection because it is not an appraisal. It also doesn't check for local code compliance and isn't a municipal inspection.
